Controls

Gunduy has a number of physical inputs available. Via Edge TX these can be programmed to perform whatever functions you prefer, but there are suggested functions for each input. Our pre-configured Gimbal presets will include descriptions of what each control does for that particular preset.

What is Expo?

Expo, or Exponential, is a way to describe the response curves available for the Gunduy controller.

Expo reduces the sensitivity of controls close to the centre point. The closer to the center (zero input) your control is, the lower the output level. This is useful when controlling a gimbal, as it allows much more accurate corrections to be made to pan and tilt by the operator. Low Expo corresponds to zero expo, or a linear response.
