Get Started
How to get started with your Gunduy Receiver
Initial Setup
If you ordered an ELRS Gunduy receiver, it will arrive pre-configured to connect to your Gunduy controller.
If you have changed the binding phrase on your Gunduy controller, your Gunduy receiver will not automatically connect. You'll need to configure the pre-installed ELRS receiver yourself.
The Gunduy receiver pro and lite are powered via the Tilta motors. As such, they will not turn on until at least one motor has been connected and the motor is turned on.
All Gunduy Receivers (with FIZ control) follow the same channel mapping. The receiver maps the input from your transmitter (Gunduy Controller) to the Nucleus Motor position.

Double press to calibrate lens motors, hold for 10 seconds to calibrate transmitter.
Channel 13 is used to trigger record (allowing use of a record trigger cable with your Tilta motors) and to access calibration of the motors and transmitters.
Motor Calibration
Double tapping channel 13 will set the Nucleus motors to lens calibration mode. The motors will travel in one direction until they encounter resistance and then in the opposite direction until they encounter resistance. The motors can forget their calibration if not powered down manually, so this may need to be conducted every time they restart. For manual lens calibration (for photography lenses without end stops) you can use your Tilta hand unit to complete the manual calibration process.
Transmitter Calibration
As there are significant variations in the output range of RC transmitters, there is a transmitter calibration function built into the Gunduy receivers. Holding channel 13 HIGH (holding the button) for 10 seconds will trigger a Transmitter calibration mode.
To indicate that you're in transmitter calibration mode, Motor 1 will sweep back and forth. continuously.
Move your controls through their range to set each channel's minimum and maximum values. Once complete, hold channel 13 HIGH for 10 seconds again to leave transmitter calibration mode and save your configuration.
You should only need to complete this process once.
